The Cardinal's choice is a performance that questions our capacity to listen, read
and understand the amount of informations present on the web.
During 3 minutes the caller ask people to respond to a series of sentences by taking or not taking “a step” depending on how they feel about the claim. The list of 25 sentences all contain the expression “take a step… forward, backward, to the left, etc”. They were found online and speak about different worldwide political issues, health advices or pop culture events.. Participants have to react to the sentences while listening to line dance music and watching an aerobic video.
